Club Bulletin Award

The Club Bulletin or Newsletter is an important communication tool for Rotary Clubs.

It is important that this communication tool is able to meet the communication needs of both the Rotary Club which publishes it and the broader Rotary community.

Assessment Criteria

The Club Bulletin Award will be assessed on the following:

  • The consistent quality of the weekly presentation
  • The overall design and layout, including the identification of the Club
  • Each issue being dated
  • The provision of the current week's program
  • The details of future Club program
  • Reporting on the previous week's meeting and activities
  • The inclusion of Rotary information drawn from Club, District and International sources
  • The provision of information about Club members and their activities
  • The ease of the material to read and to be able to extract important information from the content

The decision will be based on the review of Club Bulletins received by the District Governor and the District Governor Elect.

If Club Bulletins are not received they cannot be assessed! Therefore, it is in each Club's best interests to ensure they are sending their Club Bulletin to the District Governor and the District Governor Elect.
