Formed in 1988, the Rotary Club of Tuggeranong has been committed to assisting the local Tuggeranong Valley community particularly the youth of the Valley.
We have created the Tuggeranong Rotary Youth Art Award in 1994 to provide an opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work in a professional setting, we have helped a countless number of students gain job interview skills, we have sponsored young people to participate in many worthwhile Rotary programs such as the Rotary Youth Leadership Program, the Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment, the Group Study Exchange program and Global Youth Exchange program.
Thankfully, polio was eradicated from Australia decades ago. However in other parts of the world polio continues. Rotary International has as a major goal the eradication of polio to which we have donated thousands of community dollars raised through countless sausages sizzles and other events.
Over 1.2 million Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
Consider becoming a Rotarian and continuing this great work.
