The Rotaract Club of Canberra is a close, passionate group of 18 - 30 year olds who aspire to change ourselves and change the world. If you want to make some new friends in Canberra outside your typical circles, or you like the idea of developing your personal and professional skills, or you wish to give back to the community through volunteering, come and visit us - we meet at the Hellenic Club in the City. We're nonreligious and nonpolitical, and we're not trying to sell you anything.
What we do is split into three levels: personal, local and international. At the personal level we aim to foster the professional development of our members, including guest speakers, workshops, conferences and networking, as well as regular social events (from trivia nights to fun runs). At the local level, we carry out fundraisers and projects to help the Canberra Community, and those less advantaged within it. At the international level, we raise funds for international causes, contribute to international projects and create and maintain strong bonds with other Rotaract Clubs around the world, particularly in the Asia-Pacific.
