Continuing our successful ‘Wine Events’, District 9710 Rotarian Wine Appreciation Fellowship Chapter have finalised arrangements for another excellent night of good food and good wine. On this occasion, we will be featuring wines from Lerida Estate and enjoying the ambience of the Drawing Room and adjoining Courtyard within University House.

  • Time:  6.30 pm
  • Venue: The Drawing Room at University House.  A very private and select venue at the 1 Balmain Crescent, Australian National University.
  • Guest Winery:  Lerida Estate
  • Tickets:  $125 per person

The evening will commence with a guided wine tasting and canapes followed by a seated main course and desert in the Drawing Room, accompanied by Lerida wines carefully chosen to match the evening’s menu.  During the evening, in addition to the guided wine tasting, Lerida will also provide a guest presentation on the Winery and its history. To round of the evening coffee and tea will be served.

In addition to providing good food, good wine, and good fellowship, the evening will also raise funds for the Rotary Foundation – Polio Plus, through a contribution from the ticket price and an auction of wine on the night.

Dress will be appropriate for the occasion, lounge suits and cocktail dresses, black tie optional if you really want to make a night of it., which many often do.
